9 month check-up

Lillian had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Strong. She hasn't been feeling well for the last couple of days, so I went ahead and made an appointment for her. It turns out she is having trouble with allergies, but nothing else was wrong! I asked if we could do her 9 month while we were there and they agreed. She is 19lbs 15oz and 28 1/4 in. and her head was 45 1/4cm. She is still refusing to crawl. She can get on her knees, but she immediately sits back up and begs for you to stand her up.

She did it!!!

Lillian is officially walking!!! She has been trying to accomplish this task for some time now. She started walking while holding on to my hands at the end of her 6th month and has progressed steadily from there. I was so glad that Jeremy was home to be able to see it for the first time! We were able to capture it on video, so as soon as I am able to figure out how to post it on here I will. By the way, the person she was walking to was Trinity. You would think it would be to momma or daddy, but nope, she wanted sister!

And she's off!!

Finally we found something that is the perfect height for her (no more killing mommy's back to walk her)
and she's out of here!!
Look at my big girl!
what do you think, mommy?
maybe I can do it without the Lion!

Drivin' Miss Lilly

This was Trinity's car when she was a baby. It can open up so that she can use it as a walker, but Lilly prefers it this way. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting!!

New hairstyle for Lilly...

Doesn't she look innocent!?
Like the mohawk?
how about this angle?

Trinity doesn't know what to think! I took these pictures about a month ago, but I couldn't get them to post. My friend, Erin, had some of Abby on her page and it reminded me of the ones I had of Lilly.

visit from their cousins..

My nephews came down for a visit last week. Trinity likes to call them her brothers! Dustin helping Lilly walk to Alex!
Trinity and Dustin shooting the nerf at Granny
Lillian with her Dustin! I am sorry the picture is sideways, but it is one of my absolute favorite of her! I love those eyes!!

4th of July girls!

We had supper over at Jeremy's parents house on the 4th. These aren't the best pictures of the girls but they were the only ones that I could get to post. Trinity was in the process of trying to grab the camera from her daddy
Lillian just wants to walk all the time and everywhere!

My Little Artist...

Trinity picked out this piggy bank to paint when we went to the pottery place two weeks ago with Nana. She really enjoyed being able to pick out her own colors and paint it without any help from momma. concentrating so very hard..
a little dab here..
don't forget the face..
a little between the ears..

what a beautiful pig, baby girl!!

3 steps!!

Lillian took 3 steps yesterday!! I startled her when she did it because I screamed for Jeremy to come to her room. I immediately picked her up and took her to the living room so that we could play "walk to mommy and daddy". She loved to "walk to mommy and daddy" for a little bit, and then she just wanted mommy! I promise as soon as I can get my pictures posted I will. The girls are growing up so fast! Trinity will be 4 in less than 2 months!

updates...

Lillian is almost 8 1/2 months now! Can you believe it?!? She still has absolutely no interest in crawling, and she wants to walk around the house over and over again. I thought it was difficult when Trinity went through this stage at 10 months. At least she was a little bit taller than my Lilly is at this point. Lillian started this at the end of her sixth month and hasn't stopped! She loves to wave bye-bye, and even more than that, she loves her sister! Trinity decided she wanted to entertain Lilly the other day so she started running around the house pretending to let Lilly chase her! She figured out soon enough that mommy and Lilly couldn't keep up with her, so she started running in circles around Lilly. I have never heard my little baby laugh so hard! It was the sweetest sound in the world!!

Trinity is going to be 4 in less than two months. She really would like to skip turning 4 and go straight on to 5, but I told her she would have to take that one up with God! She went over to her friends house across the street on Friday and played for about a little bit all by herself! This is a big deal, because she has never been to any ones house, except family, by herself before. The whole time she was there I kept peaking out the window making sure everything looked okay over there. Jeremy told me to leave her alone and let her be a big girl, but I was so nervous about it. When I finally went to get her, she had a smile on her face from ear to ear! I think she truly was on cloud nine!

again, no pictures because my drive is down on my computer! I will get some posted as soon as possible!
