Blowing kisses..

Lillian has learned to blow kisses! It is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. She blows kisses to her daddy and sister all the time. She likes to do it while she is nursing, too! She is working on other milestones, but we haven't quite accomplished them yet. The next one I am hoping she will pick up is pulling herself up. She has no desire to do it on her own. She will sit on the floor and call for you with her hands out until you help her up.

On her own...

Lillian is finally taking her naps in her crib. It took quite a terrible fall off of my bed for me to finally move her in there. On the 18th she was napping on my bed with pillows all around her, but she still managed to crawl over them and onto my make shift nightstand. I am guessing she tried to crawl on it or reach for something on it. I was in the other room when I heard a crash, and a horrible cry. She landed between my bed and the table. Her beautiful little face looked like she had been in a car accident. She had two lines all the way down her face, and a bruise right in the corner of her left eye. Her poor little cheek was just one big bruise.

Lillian's way...

Lillian is finally crawling (Aug. 6th)!! Once again Trinity was the target. I guess she was just determined to accomplish walking before she worked on crawling. Why be like every other baby, huh!! I hope this isn't a sign of how her personality is going to be when she is a teenager! She has also improved on her clapping. For the longest time she included a belly slap when she clapped. Although it was quite cute, I was beginning to wonder if she would ever really get it down. Well, she did! And boy, did it ever excite her! She has also added a few new words to her vocabulary. "dis"(this) "buff" (bath), and Jeremy said she says "bed", but I haven't heard it, so I'm not sure how she says it.

1st time with spaghetti!

This is Lillian's 1st attempt at eating spaghetti. (July 31st) She thought it was the coolest thing ever. I don't think she ended up eating enough to call it a meal, but she sure gave it a try. I didn't realize how much had missed her mouth until I took her out of her high-chair. i'll try it this way...

New toy...

Lillian tried out her new swimming toy for the first time. I had bought it about a month ago, but I hadn't had a chance to use it yet. She really enjoyed playing in it. This is the first pool floaty she has actually let me sit her in. Chillin' in the floaty...

Mommy Trinity

Trinity loves to pretend like she is a mommy. Sometimes she pretends we are her kids, and sometimes it is her stuffed animals that play along. Today was Mr. Turtles turn. Here she is feeding Mr. Turtle breakfast...

Officially 9 months!

Lillian is officially 9 months today! I wanted to rock her in her bedroom last night for one last time as an 8 month old, but she wanted nothing to do with it. She wanted me to immediately put her down in her bed. It broke my heart a little, but I am glad that she wants to go right back to sleep when I bring her to her bed from my bed. She sat up for the first time by herself on Wednesday! I had laid her on her back to tickle her, and she immediately rolled over and sat right up. I was so proud of her when I saw her do it. Jeremy was the first to witness the crawl! I had a doctors appointment, and I left her at home with him. Guess I will know better than to do that in the future! haha I have never missed a first with either of my girls, but I am glad Jeremy was able to be there for it. I think it made him feel a little special! He says it was just a two knee moving crawl, but for her that is progress. Her new word she says is "juice". That word came on Tuesday. She is now up to 5 words! Trinity took this picture!
