My baby girls!

She loves her Sissy!
Wherever Trinity is, Lilly isn't far behind.

She thinks it is her walker.
Lilly is enjoying this, isn't she!

Daddy's gift to his little girl!
Her face is red because she was crying about not getting to open any of her presents before her birthday. Yes, we gave in and let her open one! (great parenting, huh)

Now she can take your order at McDonald's.

Lilly and her babies...

My baby loves babies. She carries them around with her all day. Anytime we go on a walk we have to take a baby with us. When she sees them in the play room she gets so excited. She is learning about body parts right now, so she loves to point out things and say "this". She can point to the nose when we ask her where it is. She also knows the "eyes" and "ears". She isn't quite able to say the words yet, but she knows what we are talking about. Lilly kissing the baby.
What a sweet baby she is. Oh, how she loves her baby!!

my little dancer...

Trinity went to her first dance class yesterday. She is doing jazz right now, and if it works out we might enroll in more classes. I was a little nervous about how she would handle being in a room full of kids without me. She did absolutely wonderful!! We walked into the class and the teacher told her where she could put her shoes. Trinity said, "ok" and then asked her where she could sit! I was so shocked. This is not at all how I had anticipated this going. I figured we would get to the class and she would cling to me and tell me she didn't want to do it anymore. I sat in the waiting room for an hour while she got her groove on, and when she came out she had the biggest smile on her face! She told me how much fun it was and asked when she could do it again. Yeah!!!!

Picture day..

This one was for Daddy!

Trinity added the bracelets! She is "miss fashion" lady.

another song I love..

Daughter

Everything she sees
she says she wants.
Everything she wants
I see she gets.

That's my daughter in the water
everything she owns I bought her
Everything she owns.
That's my daughter in the water,
everything she knows I taught her.
Everything she knows.

Everything I say
she takes to heart.
Everything she takes
she takes apart.

That's my daughter in the water
every time she fell I caught her.
Every time she fell.
That's my daughter in the water,
I lost every time I fought her.
I lost every time.

Every time she blinks
she strikes somebody blind.
Everything she thinks
blows her tiny mind.

That's my daughter in the water,
who'd have ever thought her?
Who'd have ever thought?

That's my daughter in the water,
I lost everytime I fought her
Yea, I lost every time.

Loudon Wainwright III

Perfect song for daddies of baby girls.

I played this song for Jeremy, and he said it about made him cry! The verse where it talks about him being her number one is totally Trinity talking to him. She tells him all the time that she is going to marry him when she grows up!

~ Heartland
Look at the two of you dancing that way
Lost in the moment and each others face
So much in love you're alone in this place
Like there's nobody else in the world

I was enough for her not long ago
I was her number one
She told me so
And she still means the world to me
Just so you know
So be careful when you hold my girl

Time changes everything
Life must go on
And I'm not gonna stand in your way

But I loved her first and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it still hard to give her away

I loved her first
How could that beautiful women with you
Be the same freckle face kid that I knew
The one that I read all those fairy tales to
And tucked into bed all those nights
And I knew the first time I saw you with her
It was only a matter of time

But I loved her first
and I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away

I loved her first
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep
Someday you might know what I'm going through
When a miracle smiles up at you

I loved her first
